The Mystery Train to Present DRESSED TO KILL This Holiday Season

By:
The Mystery Train opens its holiday production, DRESSED TO KILL, this Friday, November 13. It runs through January 2, 2016, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1301 Wyandotte, KCMO 64105.

Wendy Thompson, the Artistic Director of the original murder-mystery stories, has created a unique theater experience for Kansas City audiences and sets the framework for the live dinner theater to include Kansas City's history featuring local actors. It's a meal to Die for... The train is the setting for the show and guests can participate as a passenger on the train, a character in the crime, or they may become the key investigator for the evening. They only need to bring their imagination and a spirit of adventure.

The cast for DRESSED TO KILL includes (pictured, left to right) Nick Rigoli, Jessica Whitfield, and Tyler Divine as the shady characters who will lead you down the tracks to 1931, and straight into a mystery. It's murderous fun!

In the aftermath of Nell Donnelly's kidnapping in December of 1931, the underworld is shocked when the police ask the gangsters to find her and bring her home safely. They're on the right track when suddenly a murder happens on the train. Does this dead man make me guilty?

The train leaves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $65.00 and include the dinner and the show and can be purchased on-line or over the phone. Thursday shows are $55 each. A cash bar is available. Advance reservations are needed and can be made by calling (816) 813-9654, or order online at www.kcmysterytrain.com (service charges apply). No shows on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

The Mystery Train is in its 11th season, and has over 1,000 performances. The Mystery Train was voted one of the top 3 Best Performing Arts Groups, in Kansas City, for two years in a row by Pitch readers; the Best Dinner Theater in the Northland and received a 5-star review by the Boston Globe Event Insider.
