STRIKING BEAUTY to Bring Politcal Satire to KC Fringe This Weekend
The artists have had it and are going on strike! Trouble is, they get the attention of The Man himself (via Twitter, of course) and it becomes a game of one-upmanship as they struggle to define the role of art and artists. The strike quickly generates a Tweet storm of surprising proportion.
Come join us for a political satire that will question the views on both sides. Only two shows left! Presented by Thespiation! as part of the 2017 KC Fringe Festival, "Striking Beauty" will be performed at Phosphor Studio tonight, July 28, at 9 PM; and Saturday, July 29, at 4:30 PM. Phosphor Studio is located at 1730 Broadway Boulevard in the Crossroads Arts District.
Thespiation! is an entertainment company more commonly known by its alias, The Mystery Train. After twelve seasons of interactive murder mystery shows, the creator and writer, Wendy Thompson, decided to produce something completely different. This is the company's Fringe debut.
