Coming to the stage of the Barn Players April 17th through May 3rd is the modern, hilarious stage musical "AVENUE Q", a show that focuses on a group of 20-somethings making their way in the big city and seeking their purpose in life.

"AVENUE Q" is the winner of a "Tony Triple Crown" award (Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book) and tells the story of a recent college graduate 'Princeton' who moves into a shabby New York apartment and soon discovers that he is not living in an ordinary neighborhood. Together Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates and a purpose in life.

"AVENUE Q" is directed by Eric Magnus with musical direction by Kevin Hershberger and features: Preston O'ffill as "Princeton", Betsy Bledsoe, Andrew Joseph Brown, James Levy, Mark Murphy, Ai Vy Bui, Hewleek McKay, Reed Uthe, Whitney Armstrong, Jake Leet, Ali Watson, Kelsie Clark, Gregory Dean and Kristen Altoro.

The production will play April 17th through May 3rd at the Barn Players Theater, 6219 Martway in Mission, Kansas. Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $18.00 and are available on the theatre website www.thebarnplayers.org, or at the box office the date of the performance.
