BWW Previews: PACKAGES WITH BEAUS - HEARTLAND MEN'S CHORUS at Folly Theatre

Heartland Men's Chorus presents "Packages with Beaus" a well wrapped holiday concert that's sure to "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" this season. This show is filled with familiar carols in contemporary arrangements along with fun whimsical comedic moments. The evening opens with a spectacular setting of a familiar hymn that show exactly how this chorus has grown over the years. The classics in the first act range from Beethoven's "Halleluiah" to "African Noel" by Kansas raised composer/director Andre Thomas.

Joining the chorus on Dec 2-3 is world-renowned string quartet Well Strung. These four hunky guys with bows are sure to warm the C. Stephen Metzler Hall at the Folly, as well as your hearts! At the Dec 10th performance the chorus will have a guest appearance from Broadway entertainer Claybourne Elder, fresh from Sunday in the Park with George.

Heartland takes the second act on a "Sleigh Ride" through a contemporary winter wonderland. Where else this season could you possibly see Hanukkah with a country western flair as well as a Millennial inspired holiday romance that gets "Phoned" in (arranged by chorus Director Dustin Cates).

For all their zany antics the chorus still finds the quiet reflective moments that holiday musical memories are made of. So, come in good voice (you may get a chance to sing along!) and enjoy unwrapping this delightfully well-packaged show!
