The Singing Dancer

Vocal Technique Built for Bodies That Move

You’re booking the dance call… but losing the job in the singing callback?

This 6-week intensive is designed for NYC dancers who want their voice to be as strong, reliable, and performance-ready as their movement. If your voice tightens under pressure, struggles to keep up with choreography, or doesn’t feel like a tool you can trust in the room, this course is for you.

In a highly focused cohort of just 4 singers, you’ll train an integrated vocal technique that works with your body not against it. Through movement-based exercises and targeted vocal work, you’ll build strength, flexibility, and stamina that holds up in real performance conditions.

In this course, you will:
• Develop breath coordination that supports both movement and vocal power
• Release tension that shows up when singing under physical demand
• Build confidence in high-pressure audition settings
• Learn a movement-integrated warm-up for rehearsals and performance
• Leave with two new audition cuts ready for the room

This is not a quick fix. It’s a deep, practical approach to building a voice that moves with you, supports you under choreography, and shows up when it counts.
