Position: Social Media Intern



What Headwall is about: We are a new company, building a team to help bring us to the next level, especially once we secure funding, which is our next big goal. We want to expand our family as we grow! Looking to give someone the opportunity to learn from and work with theatre professionals in an off-off broadway setting.



We are looking for: Someone who wants to enter an exciting new theatre company from the ground up. Must have experience with social media, and stay on for the duration of our fall production at a minimum (dates below); opportunity to stay on longer and grow with us for the right person! This position is ideal for a communications or social media student/recent grad looking to add tangible experience and concrete work to their portfolio.



*This position is flexible, with a balance of in-person and work from home hours. The commitment is a maximum of 5 hours a week, with some evening hours required during the run of the show.*



REQUIREMENTS:

-Some prior social media experience (personal or organizational)

-Must attend SOME in-person rehearsal and show dates

-Proficiency in Mailchimp, Instagram, & Facebook

-Working knowledge of social media advertising - specifically Facebook and Instagram ads

-Proven track record of successfully running social media platform(s), including increasing following, successful promotion of content, and converting leads to interactions and sales



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Queens based is a plus but not required

-Some graphic design experience

-Access to adobe suite or other design platform

-Photography knowledge (bonus if you have your own camera)



Looking for someone to start ASAP, and stay on throughout the duration of our fall production (through October 23rd), at least. Some in-person rehearsals will be in Manhattan, some will be in Queens. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis over Zoom; a second in-person interview may be requested.
