Male Stunt Performers / Face Characters - Six Flags Summer Weekend Festival - LA/NJ - WOW! Entertainment

WOW! Entertainment in association with Six Flags Parks is seeking male stunt performers/face character performers for DC Heroes & Villains Fest, a brand new immersive, family-friendly weekend summer entertainment festival. We are casting for familiar DC hero and villain characters, as well as new characters created for this event. Our performers will provide unique guest experiences through comedy, stunt shows, musical performances, and one-on-one interactions with guests. This year's festival has been reconceived and is directed by Angie Sellers (Emmy Award for Best Live Special Event, Choreographer for Darci Lynne - winner of America's Got Talent, Spotlight Award for Creative Director of the Year, NFL Halftime Shows) with Stunt Direction by Todd Lester (Stunt & Fight Director for over 250 shows worldwide including Lethal Weapon, The Three Musketeers, Batman at Six Flags Parks, Pirates Ahoy at SeaWorld San Diego).



BREAKDOWN:

MC/Host: An effervescent, highly personable, outgoing party host. A background in improvisation is a plus. Ability to think on your feet and interact with guests in unscripted moments is a must.



DC Characters: These beloved characters have an established look and general appearance, however we are open to performers of all ethnicities to portray these characters. All characters should be slim to medium athletic build, with height requirements below.



Batman: Height: 6’ to 6’2”.

Robin (doubles as Mayor of Gotham City): Height: 5'5" to 5'6".

Superman: Height: 6’1” to 6’3”.

The Joker: Height: 6’ to 6’3”.

CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS:

· Performers must be at least 18 years old with access to transportation to rehearsals and performances.

· All roles will be local-hires from each park’s region. No stipends for driving, housing or travel are included.

· All roles are non-union. No agent fees are included.



REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

A separate cast will be hired for each park. Performers are required to attend all rehearsals and performances listed below.



Six Flags Magic Mountain / Valencia, CA

Rehearsals: Dancers & MC/Host May 30-June 1, Full Cast: June 6-19 (Mondays off).

Tech rehearsals: June 14-19 will be at night after park close until 2am.

Opening: June 20

Closing: July 26

Performance call times are Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30-10:30pm (subject to change).



Six Flags Great Adventure / Jackson, NJ

Rehearsals: Dancers & MC/Host July 11-13, Full Cast: July 22-August 7 (Mondays off).

Tech rehearsals August 2-7 will be at night after park close until 2am.

Opening: August 8

Closing: September 1

Performance call times are Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day from 3:30-10:30pm (subject to change).



COMPENSATION:

Rehearsals: $25 per hour

MC/Host: $200 per day for performances

Heroes/Villains/Mayor: $250 per day for performances



VIRTUAL SUBMISSIONS:

All performers should submit a current headshot, performance resume, and reel showcasing movement/dance ability. Please include any acrobatics, gymnastics, stage combat, martial arts, and stunt experience. Performers interested in auditioning for the MC/Host and Robin/The Mayor should include a reel with a brief upbeat monologue.
