As the most senior position supporting The Old Globe’s Erna Vinci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, the Associate Artistic Director will serve in a critical role supporting The Old Globe’s reputation as a leader in dynamic theatrical programming that is actively advancing and influencing the field through productions of new work, reimagined classics, and richly conceived community arts engagement efforts. The Associate Artistic Director will bring strategic insight, creative zeal, and great comfort to producing efforts at this top-tier cultural organization. An expert level understanding of repertoire and a rich understanding of curation of new work will be critical talents for the Associate Artistic Director to confidently possess in their approach to collaborative leadership.
