Raue Center School For The Arts Seeks Piano Accompanist for

2022/2023 Classes, Workshops, and Musicals

Raue Center School For The Arts is seeking a Piano Accompanist to join our upcoming 2022/2023 season of classes, workshops, and musicals. The Piano Accompanist will be responsible for supporting the Music Directors, Teachers, and Raue Center staff during rehearsals, performing with the students during showcases, and being a mentor to the students in the classroom.

Successful candidates will have at minimum two year of professional accompanist experience as well as demonstrable advanced piano skills. Music selection varies but is heavily influenced by musical theater.

Most classes, workshops, and musicals will take place after school hours or on the weekend. More details on scheduling is available upon request. This position requires attendance to all rehearsals

and performances.

Currently we are looking for someone to accompany two different classes - the first class is a musical theatre style class (7th grade - Sophomores) and the second class is similar, but for adults.

● The youth class runs September 12 - September 29th (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 6pm - 7:20pm), with a performance after - date and time TBD.

● The adult class runs September 12 - September 29th, (Monday, 7:30pm - 8:30pm), with a performance after - date and time TBD.

This is a stipend position.

The Piano Accompanist will be responsible for their own housing and transportation to and from the venue. Local area candidates preferred. The Piano Accompanist agrees to follow Raue Center’s health guidelines (i.e., COVID protocols). Information on the current guidelines can be found at rauecenter.org/covid. All protocols and

regulations are subject to change. COVID vaccinations and boosters are required.
