New National Theatre Tokyo Launches 'NNTT at Home'

New National Theatre, Tokyo launches free streaming service "NNTT at Home" from April 10 for all who love performing arts.

The company will stream three full-length operas on this website, with each performance available for a week. This service will kick off with Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) which was performed in October, 2018 as the opening production of the first season under the Artistic Director of Opera ONO Kazushi. Turandot performed as a part of SUMMER FESTIVAL OPERA 2019-20 Japan ↔ Tokyo ↔ World and 2019/2020 season opener, Eugene Onegin will follow.

In the coming days, the company will also be offering more productions, so look out for updates. Other online contents including some insights from the rehearsal room are available on the company's YouTube channel.
