Wolverhampton Grand Theatre Appoints New Chief Executive

By: Feb. 09, 2015

The Board of Trustees at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre has today announced the appointment of Adrian Jackson as the new Chief Executive of the city's theatre.

Adrian is the current Chief Executive and Artistic Director of the Lichfield Garrick. He will join the Grand Theatre on a full-time basis after standing down from the Garrick in the summer.

Adrian has been leading the Lichfield Garrick since 2006 and has spearheaded its development into an established and very successful Midlands venue.

James Leavesley, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Lichfield Garrick said,

"We wish Adrian all the best in his move to the Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton. Given the Grand's size and significance, it is a natural progression for someone with Adrian's talent and experience. We are now entering a very exciting time at the Garrick which wouldn't have been possible without Adrian's guidance over the past decade. A re-structuring of the management team will ensure that the future prosperity and reputation of the Garrick will continue to grow and flourish".

Jeremy Brown, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre said,

"On behalf of the board I would like to say how thrilled we are on the appointment of Adrian Jackson. It is an exciting time for the theatre and we look forward to working with Adrian and the whole Grand Theatre team in the years to come.
