Wexford Opera House Hosts All Ireland Confined Drama Festival April 8-16

All Ireland Confined Drama Festival held at Wexford Opera House Friday, April 8 - Saturday, April 16 - inclusive @ 8pm

Tickets: €15 / €99 Patron Ticket for entire festival*

The top nine confined groups in Ireland will compete for the title of All Ireland Winners. An independent adjudicator will adjudicate each performance nightly with results awarded on the final night, 16th April. Draw will take place on 27th March, to decide which groups perform on what night. *Patron ticket available @ €99, for admission to all 9 performances, by calling the Box Office ONLY on (053) 912 2144.

Friday 8th April
"The Kings Of Kilburn High Road" by Jimmy Murphy
Performance by Droichead Nua Players, Newbridge, Co. Kildare

Saturday 9th April
"The Good Father" by Christian O Reilly
Performance by DADS, Dunmore, Co. Galway

Sunday 10th April
"A Crucial week in the life of a Grocers Assistant" by Tom Murphy
Performance by the Phoenix Players, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo

Monday 11th April
"Steel Magnolias" by John Harling
Performance by Ballyshannon Drama Society, Co. Donegal

Tuesday 12th April
"A Kiss on the Bottom" by Frank Vickery
Performance by Skibbereen Theatre Society, Co. Cork

Wednesday 13th April
"The Field" by John B Keane
Performance by Kilmuckridge Drama Group, Co. Wexford

Thursday 14th April
"Stolen Child" by Yvonne Quinn & Bairbre Ni Chaoimh
Performance by Conna Dramatic Society, Co. Cork

Friday 15th April
"A View from the Bridge" by Arthur Miller
Performance by Pomeroy Players, Co. Tyrone

Saturday 16th April
"Say Cheese" by Bernard Farrell
Performance by Doonbeg Drama Group - Co. Clare
