Jack L comes to Roscommon Arts Centre with his sensational new smash hit show "The 27 Club" on Saturday 2nd February, 8pm. Tickets are now on sale through the box office on 090 6625824 or online at www.roscomonartscentre.ie.
It's the hottest ticket around the country at the moment, following the screening of a one hour segment of the show on RTE 1 late last year. ."The 27 Club" is the name of a remarkable group of artists who passed away at the age of 27. The show features the work of Iconic singers such as Janis Joplin, The Doors, Robert Johnson, The Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse, The Bunnymen, Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana. They are all interpreted by the Irish multi-platinum Jack, in his own spellbinding and legendry performance ability
Exploring this mysterious number, Jack interweaves their legacy not through a vale of tears but in a rip-roaring musical celebration of life itself in what will be a dramatic and unforgettable show. The show received rave reviews from the international press following its debut at Edinburgh Arts Festival in August last. Jack is concluding another whirlwind year, which has seen him perform knock-out concerts around Europe, Britain and has just returned from USA where he did a run of shows.
