Lane Productions are delighted to announce that multi-award-winning actress Brenda Blethyn, Niall Buggy and Beth Cooke will star in Edna O'Brien's play Haunted when the show opens in Dublin's Gaiety Theatre on 4th February for 11 days only. Haunted then embarks on a spring tour in the UK prior to a West End run.
Haunted, penned by the award-winning Irish writer Edna O'Brien especially for Brenda Blethyn, received its world premiere at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre earlier this year. Directed by Braham Murray, Haunted is produced by Duncan C Weldan, Paul Elliott and Lane Productions.An extraordinary play about love and betrayal, Haunted tells the story of a captivating young stall holder, Hazel (Beth Cooke), who enters the life of the quixotic Mr Berry (Niall Buggy). In his desperation to ensure she returns, he starts to secretly giving away his wife's clothes in exchange for elocution lessons.
