By: Lauren Wolman Jul. 16, 2010
Bringing Sydney sunshine to you this year, Bondi Beach Boy Blue returns to Wexford Opera House from July 26th to August 7th at 8pm. Bondi Beach Boy Blue is a funny, moving, bittersweet comedy about two friends, the game of hurling and unfulfilled dreams.
Declan is en route to become the next great Kilkenny hurling legend until fate intervenes and he loses his big chance. So, he does what many Irish have done before and heads to the 35th county - Bondi Beach, Australia.
Focusing on the GAA and the fundamental role it has in the community, Bondi Beach Boy Blue, starring Paul Connaughton, Chris Gallagher and Aoife Coghlan, returns to Wexford Opera House following a successful show in February earlier this year.Aoife Coghlan, a Kilkenny native now living in Waterford joins the cast for the upcoming shows in Wexford Opera House with Wexford man Paul Connaughton and Chris Gallagher.
