There are a coupla plays that come along every now and again in which two polar-opposite characters, by providence or plan come into the same environment and spark a veritable explosion. A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking, is one of them, opening today at The New Theatre.
Maude is set in her perfect dissatisfaction in Westchester County, keeping up appearances while her husband roams. But before too long... well immediately, Hannah Mae moves into the neighborhood. As their personalities smash and meld, change and return, a coupla of white chicks look into the abyss of their existence and take a trip together.
