Veteran Broadway General Manager Nathan Gehan Helms New Production Company

Veteran Broadway general manager Nathan Gehan will lead Fifth Estate Entertainment, a brand-new production and general management company based in New York City that specializes in producing and managing tours, New York productions, and special events.

Fifth Estate's inaugural production, the tenth anniversary tour of Rock of Ages commences this October and will play over 100 cities across North America. In addition to Rock of Ages, Fifth Estate will be the General Manager for the upcoming world premiere of Looking for Christmas, the new Clint Black musical opening at The Old Globe in San Diego this November with a national tour scheduled for the 19-20 season. The company has several productions in development to be announced at a later date. Gehan, who will serve as President, will aim to reinvigorate the Broadway community by offering a fresh new outlook while acting in roles of producer, co-producer, or general manager.

"I believe the timing is right for a brand-new Production Company handling many different types of productions both on tour and in New York City," said Nathan Gehan. "Our extensive experience and passion for the industry will pave the way for Fifth Estate to offer producers and industry professionals a different approach to doing business in the commercial theatre industry." Michael Fiske and Caleigh Holmes will be joining the team at Fifth Estate Entertainment.

Gehan brings twenty years of experience working for Broadway's leading general management and producing firms. General Management credits include the Broadway productions of The Boys in the Band, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Audience, Living on Love, The Gin Game, Something Rotten!, Cirque du Soleil Paramour and Motown the Musical (Broadway, 1st National Tour). He also served as an associate producer on the Fall 2017 production of Billy Elliot in Seoul, South Korea. Company Management credits include the Broadway productions of Motown the Musical, Legally Blonde, Evita, A View From the Bridge, Spamalot, 42nd Street and the national tours of Shrek, Legally Blonde, Spamalot and Jesus Christ Superstar.
