Musical Theatre International has announced that the international hit musical MAMMA MIA! is now available for amateur licensing! Theaters across North America will now have the opportunity to perform the screwball story of a bride-to-be's search for her real father, all set to the songs to Swedish pop group ABBA.

Mamma Mia! features ABBA hits like "Dancing Queen" and "Take a Chance on Me." The jukebox musical played on Broadway from 2001 to 2014, and produced a film adaptation in 2008 that starred Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfriend. A sequel to the film, titled Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will be released this summer.

Today was a big day for ABBA, who also announced that later this year, they will release new music for the first time in over three decades.

Theaters who wish to apply for licensing rights to MAMMA MIA! can visit MTI's site. There, MTI has provided a stream of the Broadway cast recording as well as a full script for perusal.
