INDUSTRY: Social Insight Report - December 3rd - THE PROM and MOCKINGBIRD Top Growth!
With most ticket sales, purchasing decisions, and fan experiences happening online, a Broadway show's digital presence is more important than ever. In this feature, each week I'll analyze our exclusive Broadway Social Media data, highlighting the top growing plays, musicals, and upcoming productions.
The Prom celebrates its second week at the top of the social earnings charts while To Kill A Mockingbird made an impressive 12% in social growth and is on top for the first time. I would suspect that after its segment on 60 Minutes and the release of quite a videos (including actor interviews) it is beginning to create a nice buzz for itself on social media! The pre-sales are some of the highest seen for a play on Broadway and that's still two more weeks before Opening night and the reviews. We see if the show can continue its growing hype and interest on social media and land on top of the social growth analysis next week!
