FIGARO: A NEW MUSICAL To Be Reimagined By Creator Ashley Jana
Ashley Jana's production premiered at the London Palladium with Jon Robyns and Aimie Atkinson.
Following a world premiere concert at the London Palladium-which featured Jon Robyns, Aimie Atkinson, Cayleigh Capaldi, Daniel Brocklebank, Ava Brennan, Cian Eagle-Service, and Sophia Goodman, along with a world premiere album starring Mauricio Martinez, Cayleigh Capaldi, T. Oliver Reid, Benjamin Pajak, Ashley Jana, Lily Bell Morgan, and Jayke Workman, composer, lyricist, and librettist Ashley Jana. The team is officially announcing a new creative direction for the original production. This production has undergone an evolution, transitioning from its early concepts into a thriller that pits a courageous young woman against a magical underworld.
"The narrative has transformed significantly since London," says Jana. "I have moved away from the ambiguity of dreams to tell a story of literal survival and poetic justice. Sienna is no longer a passive victim of her own mind; she is an active rebel exposing the truth behind a dangerous man."
Jana is currently bringing this revised vision to life through a 45+ track concept album. Featuring a full narrative including dialogue, foley, and cinematic soundscapes. The official release date for the album will be announced later this year.
