Lincoln Amphitheatre To Donate To JDRF In Honor of Will Koch

By: Jun. 18, 2010

In honor of its late president Will Koch, Lincoln Amphitheatre will donate $5 of every ticket purchased on opening night to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

"The Amphitheatre board and staff want to take this time to reach out to another organization that meant a lot to Will," says Brandi Weyer, communications director for Lincoln Amphitheatre.
The second season of LINCOLN will be dedicated in memory of Koch. The Lincoln Boyhood Drama Association (LBDA) is the governing board for Lincoln Amphitheatre. Koch became president of the LBDA in 2007 by continuing on the Lincoln legacy his late father, Bill Koch, started.

LINCOLN will take the stage for its second season at Lincoln Amphitheatre on Friday, June 18, 2010, and will run nightly with the exception of Mondays until August 7. The non-profit Lincoln Amphitheatre is supported in part by individual and corporate donations. The "Lincoln's Legacy Lives" fundraising campaign is underway to help fund the second season's production of LINCOLN, a two-act play with music by playwright Ken Jones.

For more information about tickets to LINCOLN, call Lincoln Amphitheatre at 812-937-9730 or visit www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com.
