Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre Announces Young Performers Audition
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre has scheduled local auditions for the upcoming production of Annie.
Beef & Boards is casting the roles of the orphans and the starring title role in its upcoming production of the musical Annie. Girls ages 6-14 are encouraged to attend the audition on Saturday, March 3. Auditions are by appointment only. Callbacks will take place Sunday, March 4.
Rehearsals will take place May 12-30. Annie is on stage from May 31 through July 15.
Those auditioning must be available for all rehearsals and performances scheduled. They should prepare at least one vocal selection and bring sheet music in the correct key. Young performers should dress comfortably (no costumes or makeup), and provide a photo as well as a brief résumé of recent performing experience.
Each child cast will receive a performance stipend and limited number of complimentary tickets.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that the child's school is amenable to unavoidable missed school time.
