NCPA to Present CLUB DESIRE, Starring Mansi Parekh, Oct 24-27

Club Desire (English Play) by the Tata Theatre will run Thursday, 24th to Sunday, 27th - 7.00 pm. An NCPA Production in collaboration with Arpana & Soul Sutra.
Club Desire is an ambitious theatre production inspired by the French opera, Carmen, by Georges Bizet. The story is placed in the contemporary setting of Mumbai's nightclub scene. The adaptation raises universal questions about the nature of love, tradition, modernity, freedom, possession, order and anarchy. It is the recreation of a classic and rediscovery of a timeless story to help us find meaning in our times. Based on the French Opera Carmenby Georges Bizet and directed by Sunil Shanbag. The cast features Mansi Parekh Gohil, Faisal Rashid, Karan Pandit and Gagan Dev Riar. Tickets:Rs.750, 570, 375 & 225/- (Members)
