The Rhythm & Blues Festival that took place in the city recently received an overwhelming response from the music lovers. As the autumn skies provide the perfect backdrop and balmy breezes, signaling the winter chills that may not be far away, the atmosphere was just right for Delhiites to sway to the sound of some Blues music.

The event was held at Zorba in Sultanpur, a destination that has become synonymous with Great Performances. The participating artists who were a part of this two day festival held over last weekend included the very famous Shillong Chamber Choir, Prem Joshu and Band, Ministry of Blues, Subramania.

The highlight of the event remained the Sami Sisters featuring Usha Uthup. Uthup, a legend in pop music in India set the evening on fire and the event was a great success.

The event was also for a good cause as 100% of the funds raised were used for the treatment of critically ill, underprivileged children. The overhead costs were borne by the founders of Genesis foundation that organized the show.
