The Ibsen Festival in Mumbai which is now in its 4th edition has been drawing a lot of critical praise not just in India but abroad too. The festival which is organized by Surnai Theatre and Folk Arts Foundation received a tremendous response for its Indian adaptations.

The festival that commences on September 10 in Mumbai will showcase on stage Peer Ghani, an Indian adaptation of Peer Gynt. Also showcased will be some of the other popular plays by Ibsen too ranging a vast range of work. Some of the plays that will see an Indian adaptation will be A Doll's House, Peechha Karti Parchhaiyan (Ghosts) and Mareechika (The Lady from the Sea).
