Ansh's JOKE Plays the Prithvi Theatre, April 10-11

Each one of us, as a child has been introduced to two faiths - God and fairies. As we grow up, fairies disappear and God takes over our heart, mind and lives. What happens when one man decides to leave Gods behind and bring back fairies in his life ? Will Radhika , Chandu , Satpute , Sangeeta and Parikrama help him get his faith back ? or will it all turn out to be a JOKE ?
ANSH :Ansh was started by Makrand Deshpande in 1993. Since then, he has written, produced, directed over 30 plays since, including Ek Kadam Aage,Dev Vaner,Dream Man, Chitra,Airawat,Kuute Ki Maut,Samrangan,Kasturi,Laila,Basant Ka Teesra Yauwan,Baje Dhol,Sir Sir Sarla and Seema Badnam Hai and many more, and also acted in some of them.Ansh believes in harnessing the raw talent of actors, to create plays which spring from what they have to offer. Ansh also believes in creating original and unusual work - using space, sound, and the very actors themselves.
