Relationships are hard work but they only get harder when temptation comes. This interactive, hilarious, powerful and timely new romantic comedy, When Temptation Comes, is coming to the stage!
In When Temptation Comes, we follow the story of 4 couples trying to discover what it is love really means to them. Tempted by personal insecurities, lustful actions, the thoughts and opinions of others, and the hope of becoming whole with another person, they soon find themselves asking the question is love, and love only, enough to make these relationships last?
Harold JAY Trotter is not only the Creative Director of 1989 Dreams Production but a playwright, teacher and well accomplished actor. Having had the opportunity to perform on stages in New York City, Los Angeles, Austria, Germany, Prague, The Czech Republic and more he is excited to bring this original musical comedy to stages
hroughout the country. Previously he produced the summer 2016 stage play, No Justice, No Peace. and the award winning gospel comedy, Ain't Always Been Saved. Harold has won awards including the Showtime Ent Gospel Award for Best Stage Play and numerous Broadway World Houston awards including Best Director of a Musical.
The cast of When Temptation Comes is based out of Houston, TX and includes a dynamic and eclectic group of artists. Actors Marvin J. Young, Corrigan Coleman, Ronnie Rogers, and Chris White. Actresses Marcia Smith, Aria Johnson, Shavon MaJoi, Felecha Williams, Taalina Zamora, Sonya Gooden, and poet Shacolby Shentell.
