It's time to put a reminder on the calendar to visit Unity Theatre for the highly anticipated summer time children's musical, Alice in Wonderland! Lewis Carroll's unflappable young heroine, Alice, takes a tumble down an enchanted rabbit hole to an off-kilter world of mock turtles, dancing flora, punctual rabbits and mad tea parties. Playing cards hold court, and nothing is as it seems in this land where whimsy and wordplay are the order of the day. Playing July 26th - July 29th, this Prince St. Players Musical by Jim Eiler and Jeanne Bargy, is chock full of music and fun and promises to bring smiles to kids of all ages. After the show, everyone has a chance to meet the characters and take photos with the actors, so feel free to come in costume!

The cast features the children in Unity's Summer Drama Camp who will perform in chorus roles in the show. Unity's Executive Artistic Director, Kate Revnell-Smith directs the play, and the main characters are portrayed by many local, familiar faces. Jillian Renee Linton plays Alice, with Devin Norwood (Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio and Scapino!) as the time pressed White Rabbit, and Cydney Pennison (Pinocchio, Scapino!, Miracle on 34th Street, Snow White Goes West) as The Cheshire Cat. The other cast members, Annie Clepper, Antonio Teodoro, Cora Hemphill, Eva Kirby, Jordan Gaskamp, Keaton Korthauer, Milo Michel, Rylie Patrick, Sam Hvidbjerg, Stephanie Rivera and Sundi Lee play a myriad of multiple characters, including the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, the Table, Playing Cards, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar etc., etc., etc.!

Alice in Wonderland plays for one weekend at Unity Theatre, July 26th - 29th for eight (8) shows only. Performances are Thursday and Friday at 10am and 2pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 1pm and 4pm. Suitable for ages 4 and up. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children (age 18 and under) and go on sale to the public on July 10th. Group rates are available for parties of 10 or more. Reservations are recommended and can be made through the Unity Theatre Box Office at 300 Church Street, open Monday through Friday, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, or by phone at (979) 830-8358.
