The Wild Wild West comes alive in an intoxicating mix of theatre, music, acrobatics, and emotion! Imagine a Wild West Saloon complete with piano player and a bar filled with gold diggers, rail workers, chorus girls, and cowboys. Add some comedy, dance, and music, and you get Saloon, a fun-filled spectacle with a breathtaking finale! The Grand 1894 Opera House showcases a mythical world where theatre and circus collide for 85-minutes of non-stop live folk music combined with strength, agility and original choreography. This action-packed theatrical event is fun for the entire family.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Grand 1894 Opera House is located in Galveston's historic downtown Cultural Arts District, and is recognized as "The Official Opera House of the State of Texas."
