Shunya Theatre presents The Jungle Book, written by Rudyard Kipling, adapted for the stage by Stuart Paterson, and directed by Sunny Sinha and Sara Kumar.

***Its text and poetry into motion through live music and dance***

Rudyard Kipling's classic, "The Jungle Book", tells the evergreen story of a boy named Mowgli who is raised in the jungle by a pack of wolves, tutored in political philosophy by a panther and a bear. He is lured by anarchist monkeys and threatened by human hunters. Is Mowgli a man, a wolf, or a reflection of the tiger who wants to destroy him?

The show will run from August 8th to August 17th (Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM, Sundays at 3:00 PM) @ The Barn (http://dancesourcehouston.org/)- Location: 2201 Preston Street, Houston, TX 77003
