SRO Productions to Present FEELING ALRIGHT!, 5/2-11

Six friends attend their ten year high school reunion and relive the tumultuous, colorful and dynasix of them have lived very different lives since their graduation, the music of their youth brings the back together for one unforgettable night in Feeling Alright! Written by Houston playwright Michael Weems, and with music by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker and many more, Feeling Alright! is a whirlwind of music that defined an era.

Standing Room Only Productions is a two year old company that has consistently produced critically acclaimed shows in the Houston area. Their past successes include [title of show], Avenue Q, Speakeasy, and Tell Me On a Sunday. This is another venture to create a new piece of theatre which is sure to be a stand out production in Houston.

Feeling Alright! stars Heather Hall, Sarah Molbert, Allison Phillips, J.D. Rose, Mark Samson, Jeff Taylor and the Feeling Alright band, and is directed by Vance Johnson.

The production runs May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11 at 8pm at Obsidian Art Space, located at 3522 White Oak Drive in the Historic Heights District. Tickets can be purchased through www.sro-productions.com, or by calling 713-300-2358.
