Playhouse 1960 Theatre will launch its 40th season with the Tony Award-winning comedy by Herb Gardner, I'm Not Rappaport, directed by Christine Weems. The production will run January 25th - February 9th, 2013. Get a first look at the show in the photos below! The play focuses on Nat Moyer, a feisty Jew, and Midge Carter, a cantankerous African-American, who spend their days experiencing the characters that inhabit New York's Central Park as well as creating a few of their own. A lively mix of comedy and social commentary, I'm Not Rappaport takes an unflinching look at society's treatment of the elderly, while embracing the joys of life that only come with experience.
