Pearl Theater to Stage DEATHTRAP, 11/1-17
By: BWW News Desk
Clever comedy-thriller Deathtrap will be performed at the Pearl Theater November 1 - 17, 2013.
One of the great popular successes of recent Broadway history, this ingeniously constructed play offers a rare and skillful blending of two priceless theatrical ingredients-gasp-inducing thrills and spontaneous laughter. Dealing with the devious machinations of a writer of thrillers whose recent offerings have been flops, and who is prepared to go to any lengths to improve his fortunes, it provides twists and turns and sudden shocks in such abundance that audiences will be held spellbound until the very last moment. Cheryl Loudd, stage manager, says "This production is going to keep audiences on their toes. It's been great working with such a talented cast and crew." The leading role of Sidney Bruhl is being portrayed by Ralph Coburn, other cast members include Kay Jones playing Myra Bruhl, Benjamin Ashton playing Clifford Anderson, Robyn LeGris playing Helga ten Dorp and John Harrington playing Porter Milgrim.--Fridays, November 1, 8, 15 at 8pm
