The fictional Second New Greater Lesser Mt Zion Bethel Church needs an amazing Christmas pageant to save the church.

Obsidian Theater is proud to present its original production of Go Yell it on the Mountain! a fun farcical christmas musical. Performances will run December 1 - December 23 at Obsidian Theater, 3522 White Oak Drive, Houston, TX 77007. Even Shows begin at 8 p.m. and matinees at 3.

The Second New Greater Lesser Mt Zion Bethel Church has been around for 75 years but now a near by mega church wants to build the Heavenly Palace Bowling Lanes on top of the venerable sanctuary. To save the community they need to draw attention to the church and rally the city behind them. They need a big showy heart warning christmas pageant. So they ask an outside theatre director to help them save the church. Traditions and characters clash but always there is the great music.
