It's Opening Night for PASSING STRANGE!

Obsidian Theater (The Motherf***** With the Hat) in association with SRO Productions (Green Day's American Idiot) will open the Tony and Drama Desk award-winning Broadway rock musical PASSING STRANGE TONIGHT at Obsidian Theater. Written by Stew and with music by Heidi Rodewald and Stew, PASSING STRANGE is a comedy-drama rock musical about a young, black man called "The Youth," who embarks on a journey to find "the real."

PASSING STRANGE is an odyssey of self-discovery about family, cultures, spirituality, love, drugs, sex and music. This beautifully written and fierce musical, complete with on-stage rock band, features a ferociously talented cadre of performers from the Houston area. Performances will be held at Obsidian Theater, 3522 White Oak Drive, Houston TX on Feb 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25 and March 2, 3, 4 at 8pm and one Sunday performance on Feb 26 at 3pm.
