ComedySportz Holds School Supply Drive for Back-To-School Weekend
You'll be the teacher's pet when you bring donations of new school supplies to the ComedySportz Arena in August. When you make a reservation for and commit to bring school supplies to a ComedySportz match today and tomorrow, August 16 and 17, 2013, you'll receive $2 off* each full price ticket. You can purchase a discounted ticket for each donated school supply item. (*Discount cannot be combined with other offers or coupons).
These school supplies will be donated to West Houston Assistance Ministries, the "door of hope" for West Houston children and families in crisis. Since 1987, WHAM has provided students with the vital supplies required to return to the classroom. WHAM makes back to school easier for hundreds of families each year, supporting more than 1,000 students in bothHouston and Alief school districts. Your donations can help ensure a child's first day of school is both comfortable and encouraging.
The ABig Three suggested donations are: 1) Elementary-Ruled Paper; 2) Red Pens; and 3) Paper Folders. A complete list of WHAM's School Supply Drive Items can be found by calling 713-977-9942.
So look smart at ComedySportz and have a laugh while you help us help others! The shows kick off at 8:00 p.m. every Friday and Saturday at the ComedySportz Arena, 901 Town & Country Blvd. (I-10 West and the Beltway). School supply donations will be accepted through August 17th with the discount applying to tickets for the August 16th and 17th shows. Regular admission is $18.00 and no minimum drink purchase is required. Group and student discounts are also available.
