French pianist and conductor François-Frédéric Guy performs and conducts Beethoven's Piano Concertos nos. 1 and 5 (the Emperor) in the second of two consecutive evenings with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. The five concertos trace Beethoven's musical journey from the youthful spirit of the First to the majestic grandeur of the Emperor. Guy has performed with renowned orchestras including the Vienna Symphony, the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, and the Seoul Philharmonic.
