ProArts Announces Spring Season Auditions, 2/5

ProArts. Inc. is happy to announce open auditions for our upcoming season of shows at the ProArts Playhouse in Kihei.  The shows are: Rats! The Pied Piper Musical, Snow White and the 3 ½ Dwarves, and Driving Miss Daisy.  The season will open in March, 2011 and run through May, 2011.  The order of the shows is dependent on casting.
 
Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, February 5 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the ProArts Playhouse at Azeka Shopping Center (Makai), 1280 S. Kihei Rd. in Kihei.  Auditions are for singers, actors and dancers ages 14 and up.  Auditionees should bring their current résumé and headshot and prepare a 2 minute vocal selection, preferably an up-tempo tune from a Broadway show. They should also bring their sheet music for the provided accompanist. Auditionees for Driving Miss Daisy will be asked to read from the script. Readings will be available at audition time. A stipend is paid to all participants.
