Halekulani, Oahu's most acclaimed luxury hotel just steps away from Waikiki Beach, recently announced its partnership with New York's renowned Dramatists Guild Fund. This partnership encompasses a series of musical performances at the hotel's fabled Lewers Lounge and commenced with two special performances by Andrew Lippa, acclaimed award-winning Broadway composer, performer, and president of the Dramatists' Guild, on March 10 and 11. Scroll down for photos of Lippa onstage!

Lippa;s recent work includes the hit song "Evil Like Me," written for Kristin Chenoweth for Disney's film "Descendants," as well as a world premiere piece composed and conducted for the international piano virtuoso Lang Lang and the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra in China.

Halekulani's Lewers Lounge has established itself as one of the world's premier venues of acoustic jazz, supported by a Café Society-inspired cocktail program, fine casual cuisine and Halekulani service. The room has been host to such musical superstars over the years as Tony Bennett, The Count Basie Quintet, Diane Krall, Eddie Henderson, Jimmy Borges, Monica Mancini and other countless legends of jazz. It is unrivaled in its bespoke ambiance and intimate, plush trappings and highly attentive service pedigree.
