The Hawaii Theatre presented an updated version of the classic rhythmic show, STOMP, from December 22nd through January 3rd. The production is presented by Jam Theatricals and NewSpace Entertainment and Rhythm.

International percussion sensation with eight-member troupe: STOMP uses everything but conventional instruments to fill the stage with rhythm. Returning to Honolulu for the first time in five years STOMP has got their matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and hubcaps ready to go; this time with updated and restructured sections as well as the addition of new full scale routines utilizing props like tractor-tire innertubes and paint cans.

Critics from The Free Press have called STOMP "Pop art for the eyes, rhythm for the ears, theatre for the feet."

Performances for STOMP take place Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday at 3:00pm, and Sunday at 7:00pm. There is no performance on December 24th. Tickets for the event range in price form $12.25 to $52.00 with discounts available for seniors, students, group, and those with a military ID.

Tickets can be purchased online at the Hawaii Theatre website or by calling the theatre box office at 808-528-0506.
