Diamond Head Holds Auditions for Shooting Stars Youth Performing Troupe, 3/20
The Diamond Head Theatre "Shooting Stars" youth performing arts troupe will be holding auditions for children ages 7 - 17 on Saturday, March 20, 2010.
Registration begins at 12:45 p.m. Auditions will begin promptly as scheduled.
Auditioning children should be prepared with Broadway-style sheet music in their own key that is age appropriate. An accompanist will be provided,and there are no transpositions on site, tapes, karaoke, or a cappella allowed. For the dance audition, children should wear closed-toe shoes (jazz shoes preferred) and be dressed for movement. Please bring tap shoes as well if available.
Auditions are held in the DHT RehearsAl Hall. Dates and times are subject to change.
Saturday, March 20, 2010, 1 - 5 pmREQUIREMENTS
Be prepared to:
AGES - 7-17 years
SING - Please be prepared to sing (bring Broadway-style song sheet music in your own key). A capella, transpositions on site, karaoke, or tapes will not be allowed. An accompanist will be provided.
DANCE - Please bring appropriate dance wear (clothes/shoes) as you may be asked to dance.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held every Saturday from 1 - 5 p.m.
