Star Wars In Concert Coming To Greece May 4th

A concert that will convey the audience "in a universe far, far away ..." will be held on May 4, 2018 by MOYSA, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall. The concert (Friday, May 4 at 20.00, "Ioannis Vellidis" conference center) is part of the May Day "May the Fourth" World Day, which will be celebrated in Thessaloniki under the Thessaloniki Comic Convention "The Comic Con 4" 04-06 / 05/2018).

Star Wars friends will have the opportunity to enjoy, among other things, the suite including John Williams' favorite songs, such as "The Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme)" and "Princess Leia's Theme", and - of course - flagship music of the series of films.

The opening day of the event will be completed with an orchestral mini-part with favorite tracks, played by the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall under the direction of Thodoris Papadimitriou.

The Thessaloniki Comic Convention was first implemented in 2015. After many important visitors and collaborators and through many exhibitions and related events, "The Comic Con" managed to integrate Thessaloniki into the world map of comic conventions. This year's fourth event is being transferred to a new larger venue, the "Ioannis Vellidis" conference center, and awaits the many comic book lovers with many surprises.
