Produce world-class productions that educate, entertain, and enrich the lives of our community  B.) Expand our outreach and bring the joy of theatre to the community 4) Develop educational workshops that enhance learning and creativity for both the theater and in real life. 5) Support new play development and the creation of new onstage stories that convoke Patrons, provoke thought, and invoke a broad range of feelings.  At our Theater, Patrons will be immersed in quality professional theatre, eclectic experiences, storytelling, and ideals.  You'll be helping our community gain a broader perspective of the world, which will educate and promote social conversation in shaping the creators of tomorrow thereby increasing vocations in the Arts. Every dollar donated to CAT goes directly into our programs and the artistic community in Birmingham!

Central Alabama Theater (CAT) which started from the ground up oover 13 years ago is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization whose purpose is to enrich, educate and entertain Central Alabama by providing a superior entertainment experience through the production and presentation of quality professional theater.  CAT will educate the stars of tomorrow through artistic workshops; create an outlet for new works; encourage creative community involvement; and present quality concert entertainment.
