HEROES ARE NOT ALWAYS WHO WE THINK THEY ARE.In 1942, between the cabaret La rose noire in Paris and the Saint-Dizier railroad station, an important crossroad for military trains, six young people are driven by faith to meet and get involved in the sabotage of a German train. Lucile, a young secretary for the railways; Fanfan, his brother, a supporter of the Petain rgime; Gilbert ,their friend, a communist railway worker, Rupert, a German officer, Nini his lover, a cabaret singer; Etienne, his unloved son, and Norah, a agent in the Resistance who has come from London. These young men and women will cross paths, love, tear each other apart, betray, survive... At the same time, Gaby the postman travels with sausages in his suitcase to sell them in the black market with the complicity of Celestin the baggage handler. These are dark times. Some will die. Others will emerge transformed from this trial.Heroes are not always who we think they are.
