ZOOTOPIA is a 90-minute stage musical being developed for a professional LORT production, followed by professional and amateur licensing.
Judy Hopps: (18-30) A bunny. Optimistic, determined, passionate. Type A and infatigable. She believes in the good in the world. Youthful pop sound with strong belt.
Nick Wilde: (20-30) A fox. Street smart, savvy, sarcastic. His nonchalant and dispassionate exterior masks a heart of gold. Baritenor who grooves.
Dawn Bellweather: (25-40) A mild-mannered sheep and the assistant mayor of Zootopia. Soft-spoken, meek and overlooked but there is more to her than meets the eye. Mezzo soprano / belter.
Chief Bogo: (30-50) An ox and the police chief of Zootopia. Tough and set in his ways. Uninterested in changing his practices or beliefs.
Please prepare a brief contemporary musical theatre or pop musical theatre song, ideally showing comedic instincts and strong character. Bring sheet music in your key and your picture and resume stapled together.
