PREPARATION
Auditionees may prepare a brief monologue. Or, if you are interested in auditioning for a specific role in IS GOD IS or DANCE NATION, indicate your interest, and in which role, in your appointment email, and you will be sent a side to prepare. (sides will also be available at the audition)

CONNIE: (Actor 18+ to play) Age 11-14, Female. A talented dancer. Indian-American
LUKE: (Actor 18+ to play) Age 11-14, Male. The only male dancer on the competition team.
MAEVE: (Actor 18+ to play) Age 11-14, Female. The oldest and least talented dancer on the team
SOFIA: (Actor 18+ to play) Age 11-14, Female. Knows what’s up
ASHLEE: (Actor 18+ to play) Age 11-14, Female. Future president of a post-apocalyptic USA

RACINE: Age 21, Female African-American. Identical twin sister to ANAIA. Has burn scars on her arms, back and neck but a face of considerable beauty. Is considerably tougher than her sister.
SHE: Age 40-60. Female, African-American. Mother to RACINE and ANAIA. Has burn scars over her entire body.
CHUCK HALL: Male, African-American. A lawyer. Middle-aged.
RILEY: Age 16, Male, African-American.
SCOTCH: Age 16, Male, African-American.
