SEEKING

Seeking Dancer/Singer/Actors for WHITE CHRISTMAS the Musical. (While we will gladly see anyone interested in
auditions, please note that AEA performers registered as permanent area residents from Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana are preferred.)

This audition posting is NOT for reproduction without the written permission of Theatre at the Center casting

PREPARATION

Be warmed up and ready to dance at call time with tap and character shoes. Bring one copy of picture and resume. Prepare 32 bars in the style of the show-with sheet music, should you be asked to stay and sing.

BREAKDOWN

Roles and understudies for consideration at THIS CALL include:

Phil Davis - (needs to dance) the fun loving, go-getting song-and-dance partner of the team. An irrepressible clown

Judy Haynes - (needs to dance) the younger,ambitious, slightly scheming Haynes sister.

Rita and Rhonda - chorus girls in Phil and Bob's act, they are brash, sexy and fun.

Mike - Bob and Phil’s stage manager. Tendency to be over-dramatic and hysterical.

ENSEMBLE ROLES: Tessie, Jimmy, Cigarette Girl, Snoring Man, Mrs. Snoring Man, Train Conductor, Dance Captain, Seamstress, Assistant Seamstress, Ed Sullivan Announcer, Regency Room Announcer, Sheldrake’s Secretary, Jimmy’s Back Room Club-goers, Train Passengers, Inn Guests, Chorus Kids, Patrons of the Regency Room.

Bob Wallace - a Major singing star, guiding force of the song and dance team.

Betty Haynes - the sensible, half of the song-and-dance team, the Haynes Sisters.

Phil Davis - the fun loving, go-getting song-and-dance partner of the team.

Judy Haynes - the younger,ambitious, slightly scheming Haynes sister.

Ralph Sheldrake - Bob and Phil's army buddy, television exec fast-talking New York professional.

General Henry Waverly - retired Army General, adjusting to returning to civilian life. Martha Watson - once a Broadway star, now the general's housekeeper at the Inn. Ezekiel Foster
