BREAKDOWN
ABOUT
Tiny homes are all the rage! Cath is ready for a big change. She quits her lucrative, fast paced job in finance and moves across the country with her boyfriend to build a 200-square-foot tiny house. Turns out that choosing a simpler life can get very complicated. Filled with lovable, idiosyncratic characters each on a quest to find a place to call home, Tiny Houses is a surprising world premiere comedy about what happens when the world shrinks.
NOTE:
During the course of the play the actors will build a tiny house on stage. As there is a lot of non-verbal comic storytelling, actors with physical comedy skills are needed.

Actors of all races and ethnicities are sought and STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
JEREMIAH : (30s-40s) Plain-spoken Tiny House construction consultant hired to help Bohdi and Cath. A solid, sturdy kind of person who sees things clearly and speaks with conviction. He is a finisher. Any ethnicity. Actors of all races and ethnicities are sought and STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
OLLIE : (20s-30s) College friend of Bohdi’s who is letting Bohdi and Cath build their Tiny House in his backyard. Enthusiastic, easy-going, guileless. He is a shepherd. Has a slight South African accent. Sells haunted dolls on eBay for a living. Caucasian.
