SEEKING

Equity dancers for chorus (female characters) of the Broadway and national touring productions of THE LION KING. We encourage dancers of all cultural backgrounds to attend this call.

Expected to attend: Marey Griffith (Associate Choreographer); David Kreppel (Music Supervisor); Mark Brandon, CSA and Jarrett Reiche, CSA (Casting Directors).

NOTE: We will definitely be hiring replacements for all North American companies from these auditions.

ENSEMBLE

Strong female-identifying dancers with a modern/ballet dance background — late teens to early 30s.

OTHER DATES

Currently in production on Broadway and on tour.

ECC dancers for male characters: February 9th.

All stage managerial positions are currently filled.

PREPARATION

Please be warmed up and ready to dance in flat jazz shoes or bare feet. You may be asked to sing; please prepare a song that shows off your voice and range. Bring sheet music (a pianist will be provided), a picture, and a resume stapled together.

ECC procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided.
