BREAKDOWN
SYNOPSIS: Three generations of a Russian Jewish family living in Kyiv grapple with whether and where to emigrate in 1995.
SEEKING:
BORYA: Male, 25; a cocky Russian “businessman.”
ANYA: Female, 17; passionate, willful and intelligent.
ZOYA: ROLE CAST. Female, late 40s; a hard-working Soviet earth mother.
YASHA: Male, 70s; quiet, with an ironic sense of humor.
LEON: ROLE CAST. Male, 53; a gentle scientist whose hope for a fine life are over.
